Turn a Vintage Tablecloth into a Skirt: Part 2
In this post, I'll show you how to turn a cool vintage tablecloth into a skirt. See the first installment of this series here for more information on measuring and cutting your skirt. When you use a round tablecloth, you end up with a nice, custom-sized circle skirt. Depending on the size of the tablecloth, this project can fit any size. This is an easy beginner sewing project.

Materials used:
- vintage round tablecloth (I found this green one on ebay, so I'm linking to search results for vintage round tablecloths)
- 1" foldover elastic
How to Turn a Vintage Tablecloth into a Skirt
or this tablecloth skirt, I used foldover elastic for the waistband instead of wide waistband elastic, which I used for the last one. The waistband is smaller on this one, but the raw edge at the top of the skirt is complete encased, which is nice.
My dog gave it his stamp of approval.
The best part is that you don't even have to hem it. This tablecloth has the prettiest lace edge!
