I recently came across the lovely Layla Bag Pattern, and I knew that making this cute purse would be a great way to use up some of my surplus leather.
In this post, I'm going to show you how to make an easy stuffed ball toy for your dog. My dogs love these because they bounce and roll when you throw them.
Make this easy beginner pattern from Simplicity in one hour with two yards of fabric or less. The nice thing about it is that even if you're making the biggest size (size 24), it only takes two yards of fabric. Many skirts take 4-5 yards, which can get expensive, so it's nice to see a skirt that can be made relatively cheaply. Note that the one hour time estimate does not include cutting out the fabric.
This is an easy, beginner blouse with a few different styling options, including sleeveless, ruffled sleeves, and 3/4 sleeves. It's cute and flowy--perfect for summer! I'll go through my concerns/suggestions regarding this pattern to help you avoid any issues I had.
