Sewing and Crafting Etsy Holiday Gift Guide
As the holidays approach, I’m sure many crafters and sewists are gearing up to make some awesome items for their loved ones. But what can you get for those who love to make things? I always like getting supplies for my various craft projects. Here are a few of my favorites finds on Etsy. This gift guide will show you what to get for that special someone who likes to craft or sew.

Etsy Holiday Gift Guide
Schacht Flip Loom
Earlier this year, I posted about getting a Schacht Flip Loom which I absolutely love. I bought my loom from The Spinnery on Etsy. The shop owner was helpful and informative when I had questions, and everything shipped quickly and was packaged very securely. When you buy a loom, you'll also get a coupon for $25-50 off anything in The Spinnery's Etsy Shop. You may also want to use that coupon to get extra heddles for the Schacht Flip Loom or check out looms and weaving accessories from The Spinnery.
It's so much fun once you start weaving!
My Favorite Fabric Designers
If you want to buy pre-made fabrics, here are a few fabric designers that I find myself gravitating toward frequently.
Kaffe Fassett
This designer uses really vibrant, bright colors and designs. I just bought a fat quarter bundle of the Woven Stripes series:
Check out other fabric bundles from Kaffe Fassett on Etsy. I particularly love these Spiral Shells.
Anna Maria Horner
This designer has wonderful whimsical and natural designs. I used her Eucalyptus fabrics in this quilt (see my previous post about making this quilt).
Check out other fabric bundles from Anna Maria Horner on Etsy. I particularly love the Fibs and Fables series.
Joel Dewberry
This designer's fabrics have an elegant, vintage feel to them. See my previous post on making a quilt with fabrics in Dewberry's Aviary line.
Check out other fabric bundles by Joel Dewberry on Etsy.
William Morris
I love the intricate, repeating patterns in Arts and Crafts designer William Morris' fabric.
In a previous post, I wrote about making a thread catcher basket from some of my favorite Morris prints.
Sewing Patterns
In a previous post, I wrote about making the Layla Bag Pattern by Etsy seller IThinkSewBags. It's a wonderful bag pattern, and I've bought a few others from the same seller, though I haven't had time to make them all yet!
Vintage Sewing Machines and Accessories
If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you know that I love vintage sewing machines. I don't buy them online, though, because shipping is often quite steep for a full-sized sewing machine. However, you can buy vintage toy sewing machines on Etsy, which are fun to use or display in your craft room!
And you can find some cool vintage sewing machine accessories, such as this zigzagger.
I hope this post helped you come up with some ideas for what to get your favorite sewist or crafter!
