I post sewing and crafting tutorials here at the Mermaid’s Den. I love making things and sharing them with you, so you can make them, too.

This tutorial shows a super easy silk infinity scarf that you can make with scraps of fabric or else you can mix and match thrift store scarves. Make this silk infinity scarf with my step-by-step, free sewing tutorial. This project takes about half an hour (or less) to make and you only have to sew basic, straight seams. It makes a great accessory to wear with your own outfits or to make as a quick gift idea!

Materials Used:

I bought a smaller package of silk from this seller, and I was so impressed that I had to order a larger package. Both had a beautiful mix of fabrics. The pieces I used for the infinity scarf were approximately 12"x 40", and some of the pieces I got were even bigger than this, while others were slightly smaller. A word of caution: it comes from India, so you'll have to wait a couple weeks to get it, and the fabric does smell a bit musty. After washing, the smell disappeared.
